As the early church came into being through the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, they began to sing a song of remembrance in later years to keep the flames of love burning bright. For Bethany to remember the power of Acts 2, singing anew the Carmen Christi hymn (Philippians 2:1-11) grounds us in our identity as a church through the life of Jesus for the sake of the world.
Series Date: 4/7/2024 - 5/12/2024
Series Summary: A spark can either be a small fiery particle that quickly burns out as it has nothing to share its fire and energy with or it can be the beginning of what will turn into a roaring blaze- metaphorically or actually. The book of Acts is packed with sparks that tell the story of the church- how God’s Kingdom arrived here on earth as it is in heaven.
