Reading and sharing poetry can help us slow down to look at life and our relationships in new and refreshing ways. Members will have opportunities to take turns sharing poetry that is meaningful to them in an accepting, nonjudgemental setting with a goal of gaining insights into our faith, lives and relationships. This is a wonderful study for anyone longing for deeper communion with God and effectiveness in prayer. We will use the Dunamis 3 curriculum which looks primarily at Jesus' teachings on prayer and his example of love and unity with the Father. We meet on a mostly regular basis to build fellowship and friendly competition through cardboard, cards, dice and scoresheets. Games range from the old classic card games to the newfangled Euro-strategy games; absolutely zero experience is required, and all ages/life stages are welcome. Will rotate between three houses. Two of them are in North Edmonds (Talbot Rd. and Meadowdale) and the third is in South Edmonds (close to PCC). Also, start time will vary slightly (either at 7PM or 8PM, depending on who is hosting).
