Who is this Messiah?

This week, we are looking at Christ as our ‘Wonderful Counselor’ through the lens of the story of the 'wisemen' visiting the baby Jesus in Matthew 2. Pastor Nathan believes Christ wants to reveal Himself to us this Advent season for WHO HE IS and thus, WHO WE ARE as part of his story in the world. As we are introduced to the character of Jesus amidst the many questions, pains, and joys of our lives, we must ask the question anew, ”Who is this Messiah?”

Series Summary: The birth of Jesus was foretold in the Old Testament 700 years before He was born. It was said He would be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. By focusing on the names of Christ from Isaiah 9:6, we will intersect the New Testament stories of Jesus’ birth with the Old Testament prophecy about the birth of our Lord.
