Sunday Services  |  In-Person and Outdoors  |  Shorewood High School  |  10am

We are now hosting worship OUTDOORS at Shorewood High School (17300 Fremont Ave N, Shoreline, WA 98133) at 10am every Sunday! Come join us for a relaxed atmosphere- as we gather in the courtyard on the south side of the building (between the facility and the baseball fields). Bring a chair, bring a tent or some shade and join us in the mornings over the course of the summer. We will not have any access to bathrooms or port-a-potties, so be sure to take care of business before you come and worship! :)

Sunday Services  |  Online  |  8, 9:30 & 11am

In the midst of COVID-19, we are excited to gather together in worship online. We believe we are the church and we should be the church anywhere and everywhere we go! Worship is not confined to a building nor a day or time, it is who we are. Therefore, whether you watch online or serve your neighbor—we are being the church and there is Christ in the midst of us.

Our Hope, Vision, & Mission for House Churches

Our hope is to remember the joy of worshiping together as the Body of Christ. The vision is to reconnect to one another and to the mission of God through house churches. The mission is to grow together in prayer and care for one another’s needs, discern and use our spiritual gifts, and reach our neighbors with the gospel.

Join a House Church

House churches will gather and launch Fall 2020 for you to join. All you have to do is sign-up here and we will place you in a house church nearest you. Most house churches meet online Sunday mornings after the services premiere (8:00a, 9:30a, 11:00a) and will have anywhere from 5-15 adults in them. Since we are not gathering for in-person worship for the rest of 2020, joining a house church is the best way to gather online to worship with people at North. If you want to learn more, read the House Church Participant FAQ.

If you are new to Bethany North, we know there is nothing like visiting a new church for the first time; there are so many new faces, you might feel as if you stand out. Please know that you are not alone—we have all been there—and we are a better community because you are here. Also know that we believe worship is celebration of grace. In other words, we as a church body want to be a place where you feel welcome and at ease.

WHAT TO EXPECT

At Bethany North, we recognize that worship is so much more than singing songs. When we gather on Sunday mornings, our worship can be seen as multidirectional.

Our time of worship together often includes singing, prayer, and teaching. Every week, you will find a community of people desiring to walk through life together.

We see children as a deeply valuable part of our community, and as such, we welcome Elementary age and up to be a part of the opening part of the worship service. Kids squirmy during outdoor worship? No worries- let them run and play as an expression of their worship!

Join us as we seek to engage worship with our full beings—worshiping in all directions—in order to become the visible expression of our invisible God.

PARKING AND ACCESSIBILITY

The parking lot is located on the west side of Shorewood High School and is accessible on both 175th and Fremont Avenue North. The entrance to the building is located on 175th. Shorewood High School is a completely accessible facility.

what about children?

COVID-19 has not allowed us to worship indoors. We are worshiping online and outdoors right now. Our previous policies are as follows:

We are passionate about this generation knowing and following Jesus their whole lives. Utilizing age-appropriate, Christ centered and bible based curriculum we recount God’s redemptive story of love revealed throughout time as well as our day-to-day lives.

Upon arriving at Bethany North, there is a table in the foyer, near the entrance for new families to register and for all families to check-in their children.

  • For our youngest children (nursery–pre-K), we have separate classes available from the moment you arrive. Each class provides a safe environment for them to play, create, and learn while their parents worship.
  • Older kids (K–12th grades) are invited to join their parents in worship before being dismissed to their classes.
  • For more information, please visit our Families page.

Please let us know if there is any way we can be of service to you or your family, or if there are any questions we can answer.

Connect Groups

Life is people living everyday together – not alone. Outside of a service or weekend experience, we know it’s vital to connect with others so you don’t feel lost in the crowd. A Connect Group is the ideal place to do that.
