The Marriage Conference is designed to help couples strengthen their relationships through biblical wisdom and practical, research-based insights. This year, our keynote speaker, Heather Sund, will guide couples through the BetterLove assessment and explore marriage in partnership with Scott Sund, offering tools to deepen emotional and spiritual connection. Expert-led breakout sessions will cover essential topics including communication and conflict, intimacy, finances, staying anchored through life’s changing seasons, and parenting alongside marriage. Join us for a Bonus Night on Friday to connect, enjoy light bites, and go over the BetterLove Assessment in a relaxed setting. Children's ministry will host a movie night and maker space for your kids. Whether you’re newly married or have spent decades together, this conference will equip you to build a thriving, lasting marriage.

Meet Scott & Heather Sund, Your Hosts for the Marriage Conference!

Scott and Heather Sund are a dynamic team who are passionate about building strong marriages and fostering deeper relationships with God. Married for over 20 years, they know firsthand the importance of intentionality, grace, and laughter in a thriving marriage. Scott is the Senior Pastor at Bethany Community Church, where he leads with a heart for empowering people to experience God’s transformative love. He has a deep desire to see individuals and families grow spiritually, and he loves creating an environment where people can deepen their relationship with Christ and each other. When Scott’s not leading at Bethany, you’ll find him spending time with Heather and their kids, sharing laughs, and enjoying a good cup of coffee. Heather is a marital and family therapist with a Master of Science in Marital and Family Therapy from Fuller School of Psychology. She is also a Certified Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist, Certified Gottman Educator, and an AAMFT Approved Mentor Supervisor. Heather has a heart for helping couples and individuals navigate life’s challenges, and she offers professional consultation, coaching, and mentorship to clients, business leaders, and mental health professionals. She has taught at both graduate and undergraduate universities, hosted seminars, and spoken at events to equip people with the tools they need to love well and live their best lives. Heather’s passion for supporting couples comes from her personal experience—she deeply values the love, friendship, and ongoing growth in her marriage to her college sweetheart, Scott. Heather also enjoys being a mom to four kids, coaching youth sports, and serving her community through mentoring and supporting faith-based and social justice organizations. Together, Scott and Heather are excited to lead the Marriage Conference, sharing their insights and tools to help you build a strong, resilient, and thriving marriage. They believe that with God at the center, every marriage can flourish, and they can’t wait to walk alongside you during this transformative weekend.
