Marriage Conference

The Marriage Conference is designed to help couples strengthen their relationships by combining biblical wisdom with practical, research-based insights. Jim and Louise Furrow, our keynote speakers, will explore how faith shapes love and connection in marriage, offering guidance for deepening emotional and spiritual intimacy. In addition to the keynote, expert-led breakout sessions will cover topics like conflict resolution, repairing emotional wounds, navigating social media’s impact on relationships, and cultivating meaningful bonds. Whether you're newly married or have spent decades together, this conference will equip you with tools to build a thriving marriage. We hope you’ll join us for this enriching day of learning, reflection, and community.

Keynote Speakers

Jim Furrow (LMFT) and Louise Furrow

Jim is an author, educator, and licensed marriage and family therapist and Louise is consultant in organizational development and philanthropy. Jim served as Freed Professor of Marriage and Family Therapy at Fuller Seminary, and Louise as Vice President for Advancement at Seattle Pacific and Azusa Pacific Universities. They have three adult children.

Where can I park?
There is a parking lot to the west of the Sanctuary building at Bethany Community Church and open parking at Bagley Elementary (across 80th Ave.) Beyond this, street parking is also available.

Is there a fee?
Yes, the cost is $40 per couple. Scholarships are available if needed. Please email email Sara Rosenblad.for more info.
Breakouts are selected during registration. We are hoping to honor everyone’s top choices, but recognize that some rooms and breakouts might fill up quickly. You will get an email confirmation of your breakout session a week prior to the event.
We have children's programming available for preschool and elementary age children. You can register your children when you register for the Marriage Conference. Under 3 nursery care is currently at capacity. Please email Ronda Kimm if you'd like to be placed on the nursery waiting list.
