Women’s Ministries at Bethany Green Lake seeks to provide opportunities for women to draw closer to Christ, to fellowship with other Bethany women, and to support and encourage one another. We invite you to step into God’s story and be transformed through Bible studies, support groups, service opportunities, and special events. Individually and together, let’s share the joy and hope of Christ with our community.

Reconnect, recharge and remember you are loved

Friday April 30 - Sunday May 2, Register
Our BCC all location women’s retreat has a longstanding tradition! For years we have enjoyed gathering in Leavenworth for times of rest, reflection, and sisterhood. Many of us have wonderful memories from these times together and can’t wait to go back. Unfortunately, as much as we had hoped to resume our in-person retreat this Spring, we are not there yet.

But, if we have learned anything over this past year, it is that we can still create meaningful connections and opportunities to meet with God and each other in ways that are live-giving and transformative. This is exactly what you can count on during the 2021 retreat weekend!
Join us for a customizable retreat experience, designed to welcome you as you are and in a way that fits with your current life. With several virtual and small in-person opportunities to choose from there’s surely something for you. Reconnect with faith, hope, and love in embodied ways and enjoy community with others.

The $25 registration fee covers all resources, gatherings, and costs. You can choose from:
  • Short, on demand teaching videos by Katie Douglass to watch at your convenience
  • Scheduled virtual workshops, discussion groups, and worship sessions throughout the weekend
  • Socially distanced, outdoor meet-up opportunities across Bethany locations
  • Access to a designated Facebook group to connect with each other all weekend long
We are currently finalizing the detailed schedule but mark your calendars to start your weekend with a socially-distanced outdoor Meet & Greet at BCC Green Lake, from 5-7.00 PM on Friday, April 30th and end by Midday on Sunday, May 2nd at the latest.
What happens over this weekend is largely up to you: Grab a girlfriend, rent a local Airbnb and get away for a full retreat weekend or just carve out an hour here and there to connect with yourself, God and others in the midst of a busy schedule. Click here to register!

Study Groups

Thursday Bible Studies

Thursdays, January 21-May 20, 10am OR 7:30pm, Meeting online, $15, Register
Mornings - Thursdays, 10am–11am
Evenings - Thursdays, 7:30–8:30pm

Meeting for over a decade, our Thursday Bible Study has a history of focusing on scripture while building relationships together, making our big church a bit smaller and creating spaces for folks to share life together.

The virtual winter/spring session will begin with "Toward Wholeness"–a four-week series biblically focused on whole-life discipleship, discovering how our spirit, soul, and body all worship and reflect Christ. For the remainder of our time, we will study the letter to the Philippians.

Within our one-hour time together, we'll have a brief devotional and before breaking out into our consistent small groups where we'll discuss the chapters content from the week, share life together, and pray. In this season where it is easy to become more and more isolated, please join us to connect with others while we grow in faith, hope, and love together.
To join a group or for questions regarding the Morning study, please contact Karen Merritt. To join a group or for questions regarding the Evening study, contact Tabitha Gross. For questions regarding the Couples study, contact Megan Dobrasz.

If you need a scholarship please contact Pastor Megan.

MENTORING at Bethany

Mentoring is a beautiful opportunity to step into our call to be the church as Christ's body (Ephesians 4:11-16). As a church, God has designed our lives to be woven together. Having a mentor to walk alongside us in our faith journey can have an eternal impact whether the relationship carries for a few weeks, months, or continues through a lifelong friendship!

Finding A Mentor

Whether you are a woman in the workforce, a stay at home mom, or both, it’s likely that you find yourself wanting the comfort and encouragement of someone who has “gone before”.

Most thriving mentor relationships happen naturally and are mentee-driven. This is why Bethany’s approach to starting a mentoring relationship is “Name it, Frame it, Find it, and Follow Through”. Check out this form to be guided through finding a mentor. If you find yourself stuck in the process or have any questions, email Isabella Branstrom at

Being A Mentor

If you are interested in walking alongside others, sign up to be a mentor! Your story, no matter how small you think it is, is a gift to others. God uses the body of Christ as a walking, talking, testimony to His goodness.

Filling out this google form will not automatically commit you to a mentoring relationship. You will always be contacted by a staff member before a potential mentee is connected with you.

MOPS: Mothers of Preschoolers

First and third Tuesdays of the Month
7:30-9pm | Online

Welcoming a new baby into your family is such an exciting time, but it also comes with its fair share of difficulty, from those sleepless nights to feeding issues. At MOPS we welcome you and your children just as you are. MOPS (Mothers Of Preschoolers) is a program for moms who have kids birth-5 years old. MOPS provides you with a supportive community of women who are going through the same phase of life and can relate to the joys and struggles that you may be facing. You can expect community and discussion time with other women, and a different speaker each week. MOPS is a place where you can take a deep breath, relax and enjoy being in the company of other women.
