Reading and Writing Tutor Available
Are you looking for feedback on your writing? Would you enjoy creating poems or short prose by following exercises developed for you by an experienced teacher? Would you like to develop your reading skills? I've been teaching English at a college in the suburbs of Seattle for 15 years, and I would be glad to work with you to help you meet your writing and/or reading goals. I work with folks on a variety of topics. One of my current students is learning how to write poems, and another is brushing up his reading skills to be able to read the Bible more easily. Looking for housing
Phone: (206) 571-3127
I am looking for a MIL (mother in law) property, or to share a house with 1-2 other people. I would like to bring my dog with me when I move, so I would prefer a fully fenced yard. He is fully potty trained, and is a 10 month old border collie. He can get a little barky if something spooks him (due to anxiety) but he is very sweet. If you are someone that gets irritated easily by a dog barking, this won't be a good fit.
I am 35, work from home full-time for a local community college. I am quiet, active (like to go for walks, bike rides, etc.) and can clean up after myself. I am a Christian and attend Cross & Crown Church in the U-District. My budget would be around $1,000-$1,100 a month or so (possibly more/less depending on the place). I would like to move sometime in the next couple of months, so I can be flexible. I would prefer my own parking space and bathroom (but am willing to share a bathroom). Please let me know if you have a space available or would like to look for a place together. I would prefer to live anywhere from the U-District to Everett (preferably not downtown/south Seattle or too far north). I am very COVID conscious and careful. Thank you for reading!
Marie de Haan Releases Powerful New Single "I Am Broken"
Marie de Haan, is an accomplished author, speaker and Christian songwriter from the Pacific Northwest who recently released her debut songwriting single, "I Am Broken". The song's composition drew heavily upon Marie's personal history of childhood sexual abuse. But it serves as a universal anthem for those going through something which unsettles their reality and shakes their core beliefs. As we go into a season that does not always bring light to those grappling with loss, loneliness or whose struggles have become burdensome, Marie's song offers a sense of comfort to those who may need it most right now. You can take a listen to I Am Broken on Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, YouTube, Amazon, or anywhere you listen to music. She will also be releasing a powerful music video to accompany the song on December 15th. You can learn more about Marie and her song on her Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages. Or check out her website at www.mariedehaan.com.
