Last Sunday, Pastor Richard used a beautiful illustration from the life of Mr. Rogers, who faithfully prayed for the people in his life. Our world is suffering right now and is in desperate need of God. Let's join together for a night of worship and prayer to draw near to God, pray and intercede* on behalf of our city, country, and world.

Here’s the link for the Zoom meeting (Note: If you haven't accessed Zoom before, click on the link before the meeting to get setup).
*From The Spiritual Disciplines Handbook by Adele Calhoun, intercessory prayer is the desire "to turn my concerns and worries into prayer; to enter God's heart for the world and then pray from there."
First time on an online prayer meeting? Here are some tips:
First Time on Zoom: If you haven't been on Zoom before, please click the link 5 minutes before we start so that you can set up the application.
Mute Your Mic: When you’re not praying, please mute your microphone. The same goes for during worship songs. As much as we would love to hear everyone singing, the technology doesn’t support that (without it becoming an echoey mess).
Patience: Be patient and pause when people finish talking/praying.
Awkward: Embrace the awkwardness. A video chat is not the same as being together in person. There are weird lags and delays and slowdowns. And yet, what a gift that we can still be together in this way.
