Skills for Disagreeing Better Workshop
For people of faith, civil discourse begins with recognizing the image of God in the person we’re talking with. Because we are all children of God, our conversations should be grounded in mutual respect. Respect, not agreement, is essential to healthy discussion, and to building unity across our differences and seeking God's Kingdom together. Building on April’s Ministry of Racial Justice & Reconciliation speaker event with Justin Giboney, this workshop will explore how we may unintentionally contribute to or reinforce polarization, and how we can instead proactively lean into Spirit-led conversation across differences.
