Kicks and Brews - Soccer Kickaround

August 14 & 28, September 11 & 25, 7pm, Soundview Playfield, Easy

Join us for a post-work summer kick around at the newly turfed Soundview Playfield on Sunset Hill. We will be warming up, and then organizing into teams for small sided games. Bring cleats, water and a mind hungry for the word of God. After our kick around, we will be headed to Chuck's Hop Shop Greenwood for a post-game brew. 

Meet your leaders: Zach, Zoe, and Juan Pablo

Zach has been leading trips with BWM since the summer of 2026. He enjoys watching sunrises in the mountains with a warm cup of french press coffee and hopes to be able to do that while journeying through the Lofoten islands of Norway or trekking hut-to-hut in Patagonia. So far Zach’s favorite trip has been a river rafting trip on the Wenatchee River.

Zoe has been a BWM leader since spring of 2026. She’s backpacked in the Grand Tetons and is looking forward to one day backpacking in the Dolomites and Patagonia. A fun fact about Zoe is she took a Jiu jitsu class once which ended in a broken finger. She probably won’t take another class anytime soon!

Juan Pablo has been with BWM starting in spring of 2026. He likes the ocean and you can find him swimming or surfing, and hiking when he’s not doing either of those! Not originally from Seattle, the PNW has grown on him and he wants to spend the rest of his lifetime trying to explore it all!
