The Art of Noticing Photo Walk

August 12, 6:30pm, Discovery Park, 2-3 miles, 200ft of gain, Easy

Engage with creation from a different perspective and join us for a photo walk! Bring your camera and enjoy a slow meander through Discovery Park to notice the beauty in our own backyard, capturing what we notice in a photo (or a few) along the way.

We'll cover the basics of photo composition and then set out on a meditative photo walk where we tune in to the beauty around us: from the delicate textures of a sunlit leaf to the majestic grandeur of distant mountain peaks. Practice noticing "something" of beauty and hone your camera skills to capture that beauty to share with others.

We'll schedule a part two of this trip on August 19th (the following week) where we'll meet up at a brewery (or another location, TBD) to share our pictures and talk about what was beautiful and meaningful.

All participants should have a camera of some sort! It could be a phone, a DSLR, GoPro, iPad, but participants should have some way to capture images.
