Move Up Sunday

As we head into summer and wrap up the school year, we are excited to help usher our kids into their new classrooms at church. We invite our kids to join their new age group based on the grade they are going into this school year. 

Some significant transitions are:

  • Preschool into Kindergarten
  • 5th grade into Middle School
  • Middle School into High School

There will be a celebration as students are welcomed to their new classes. We want everyone to feel excited about the chance to move up as they get older. 

However, we understand that moving to a new group of students and a new physical space can make some kids anxious. We encourage you to talk to your kids about the upcoming transition so they can feel prepared! If your child needs more time to make this kind of change you are welcome to use your discretion over the next several weeks. The goal is to have students fully moved up by the end of September.
