Eastside Habitat Restoration Event
Creation care is one of the core tenets of our Christian witness, and God's call in Genesis 1:26-28 to steward creation is directly linked to the invitation for humanity to flourish among it. Join others around the Eastside area to practice good stewardship and creation care at a Habitat Restoration Event! We'll help care for new native plantings, which will improve water quality in the Sammamish River to help feed both struggling salmon and orca populations. TIME: 10am - 1pm
LOCATION: Former Wayne Golf Course - 16721 96th Ave NE, Bothell, WA 98011
MEETING POINT: Clubhouse Parking Area
All ages welcome! Those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, and minors under 18 need a signed release form by a parent.
WHAT TO BRING: Warm, comfortable clothes (waterproof will be best if there is a chance of rain), long pants and long sleeves, closed toed shoes, reusable water bottle
PROVIDED: Tools, gloves, and light snacks
