Wilderness Commissioning and Gear Drive

Join Bethany Wilderness Ministry (BWM) in two ways on Sunday, June 23!

Join in prayer during service as we pray over and send out BWM leaders into this upcoming season of ministry. 

Equip the ministry! We need your used (but in good condition) gear! Specifically, we mostly need layers! We want to continue to make God's first book of creation as accessible as possible. A robust gear closet is a tangible way to help folks get outside with Christ. Here's what we need:

  • Technical layers (no cotton): Rain jackets, rain pants, moisture-wicking base layers, fleece jackets, synthetic/down jackets
  • Backpacks (40-90 liter backpacks)
  • Tents (3-4 season tents in good state with poles and ground tarps)
  • Backcountry stoves (Jetboils, whisper lites, pocket rockets)
  • Trekking poles
  • Sleeping bags (Synthetic and down sleeping bags, 30 degrees and below)
  • Snowshoes
  • Paddle boards
