For well over a decade, a charming old house in Wallingford has been a communal home for Christian women who attend churches around Seattle. This home has served as a meeting place for community groups and has hosted many social events over the years. The house culture has changed with each new addition and transition, but it remains a home saturated in prayer where we are passionate about building community, practicing hospitality, and try to care for one another as best as we can. The home has two levels with five bedrooms in the “main”/upper house and a separate basement apartment below (with its own bathroom, kitchen, and separate entrance). Upstairs ladies share a kitchen, two fridges, two bathrooms, and a good amount of storage space. All housemates share a laundry room, a one-car-garage storage area, a cute and cozy front porch, a shady fenced-in backyard with a patio. Though there are only a few areas shared… both upstairs and downstairs spaces function relationally as one home! The home is located in a very walkable neighborhood near Meridian Park and Green Lake with quick access to several bus lines. Currently, housemates are a mix of working professionals with some folks working from home occasionally. I’m looking for two Christian women to join me in renting a 3-bedroom shared house in the North Seattle Haller Lake neighborhood. I currently rent the downstairs room, and I’m looking for two women to rent the 2 upstairs rooms. The house is on a residential street with friendly neighbors, but is still easily accessible from I-5, 99, and the E Line. The house includes a front and back yard, as well as a porch/patio deck in the back. Common areas include a living room upstairs, a second family/movie room downstairs, kitchen, dining room, laundry room, and 1 bathroom. It also has central air conditioning. Each of the available rooms features great natural light with two windows, hardwood floors, and ample closet space. Each room is currently furnished but can be unfurnished upon request.
