Lent

What is Lent anyway?

Every year we hear about it, but what actually does it mean to be in the season of Lent? This page is intended to help be a resource to you throughout this 40-day period of preparation for Easter. There are short guide videos, resources, and even this Self-Guided Pre-Lent Retreat to help you engage in practices of Prayer, Fasting, and Generosity with our church community. Our prayer is for you to go deeper in your relationship with God by using and sharing these resources.

Weekly Lent Meditation and Resources

Holy Week:

Read through Psalm 118 slowly a couple of times, then pray:

PalmSundayFront.jpg

Jesus, may I bless and celebrate your arrival in all areas of my life. My God, My God, may I continue to cry out for your rescue, even in the moments when you seem silent.

As you pray, consider:

In what situations does this come easily?
In what situations is this a struggle?
What is Jesus’ invitation in light of my belief and unbelief (Mark 9:23-25)?
