Each intern will serve Bethany Community Church as a whole and share many common experiences while individually have varying responsibilities depending on the area of ministry which they are serving.

Summer Leadership Program

Part-Time, 10 Weeks

Bethany is starting to plan for Summer 2023, and we want to invite any young adults to consider being apart of our Summer Leadership Program:

The Bethany Summer Leadership Program is a three-month leadership experience for young adults who want to learn how their gifts and talents could further the Kingdom of God and bless the city. Through mentorship from seasoned leaders, discipleship training in a cohort setting, and pouring into the weekly ministries of BCC, interns will gain knowledge and awareness of how a life of following Christ and serving others has lasting importance whether they pursue a calling in ministry or the marketplace.

While the day-to-day of the leadership experience will look different for each individual, there are also collective experiences that the intern cohort will share together. These include participating in the staff’s weekly meetings and contributing to special events. Also, the cohort will meet weekly to discuss ministry experiences and to reflect on the nature of God’s call to serve in vocational ministry. Additionally, all interns meet one-on-one with their ministry lead, attend intern retreats, and can expect to be given responsibilities in areas that Bethany has deemed critical to discerning gifts and call which include spiritual formation, leadership development, administration, and relational ministry.

If you are interested in applying to be a part of the Summer 2023 Intern Cohort, please complete the application and submit to Aly
