Diving Deeper into the Scriptures

Tuesdays, January 28 - March 4 | 7-8:30pm | Classroom A

No matter how much we read the Bible, it still holds curiosities, mysteries, and intrigue as we continue to study it. This is a 6-week class for those who have read much of the Bible and want to broaden and deepen their understanding. We will be looking at the works of three modern day scholars: Dr. Carmen Joy Imes, Dr. Michael Heiser, and Dr. John Walton. Each has a different area of focus, while being aware of and appreciating the works of the others. By the end of the class, we will see how the works of all three weave together to offer us a more robust understanding of God’s overarching purposes for humanity and each of us as individuals.
