Women

Community-Groups-Greenlake.jpg

Women’s Ministries at Bethany Green Lake seeks to provide opportunities for women to draw closer to Christ, fellowship with other Bethany women, and support and encourage one another. We invite you to step into God’s story and be transformed through Bible studies, support groups, and special events. Individually and together, let’s share the joy and hope of Christ with our community.

Study Groups

Thursday Bible Studies

Thursdays, 10am or 7pm, Winter Session begins January 12, $40, Register

Meeting for over a decade, our Thursday Bible Study has a history of focusing on Scripture while building relationship together, making our big church feel a bit smaller and creating spaces for folks to share life together. While still keeping an eye toward health and safety, we will briefly gather as large group to hear a devotional, then break into our consistent small groups where we’ll discuss the Bible study from the week, share life together, and pray.

In this season of regathering, you’re invited to connect with others while we grow in faith, hope, & love together. If you have additional questions or are in need of a scholarship, please reach out to Pastor Megan prior to registering.

MOPS: Mothers of Preschoolers

Tuesdays | Early October - Mid-May | 9:30am-11am | CLC Great Room

Generally First and third (Alpha) OR second and fourth (Omega) Tuesdays of the Month
Childcare drop-off starting at 9:00am

Green Lake Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) is so excited to welcome you into our space for community and a chance to grow in our faith together. Welcoming a new baby into your family is such an exciting time, but it also comes with its fair share of difficulty, from those sleepless nights to feeding issues. At MOPS we welcome you and your children just as you are. MOPS (Mothers Of Preschoolers) is a program for moms who have kids birth-5 years old. New this year of MOPS, we will additionally be providing supervision for homeschooled kids older than 5 years old! MOPS provides you with a supportive community of women who are going through the same phase of life and can relate to the joys and struggles that you may be facing. You can expect community and discussion time with other women, and a different speaker each week. MOPS is a place where you can take a deep breath, relax and enjoy being in the company of other women. We will be allowing each mom to request one table mate. Requests need to be mutual on both moms' registrations, so please touch base with your fellow mom prior to registering so our registration team can do our best to honor your requests.

MOPS COVID protocol will align with the Bethany Green Lake Family Ministry safety plan found here.

MENTORING at Bethany

Mentoring is a beautiful opportunity to step into our call to be the church as Christ's body (Ephesians 4:11-16). As a church, God has designed our lives to be woven together. Having a mentor to walk alongside us in our faith journey can have an eternal impact whether the relationship carries for a few weeks, months, or continues through a lifelong friendship!

Finding A Mentor

Whether you are a woman in the workforce, a stay at home mom, or both, it’s likely that you find yourself wanting the comfort and encouragement of someone who has “gone before.”

Most thriving mentor relationships happen naturally and are mentee-driven. This is why Bethany’s approach to starting a mentoring relationship centers around figuring out what you’re looking for in a mentor and either asking someone you already know or letting us help you find someone. Check out this form to be guided through finding a mentor. If you find yourself stuck in the process or have any questions, email Pastor Megan.
