The 2020 Advent Devotional was created in tandem with a special Advent Box containing materials to complete each activity/practice at the beginning of the week. However, if you did not receive a box, most of the activities can be recreated with items from around your house or neighborhood! We look forward to celebrating this season of hope and expectation with you—share your photos on social media and tag us along the way @bethanygreenlake!

· What does abiding in Christ look like to you? What draws you near to God? What draws you away?
· Do you see more external fruit or internal fruit in your life these days?
· Where have you seen locusts invade what looks like an example of health – a good marriage, a promising career, a thriving business or community?
· What is the collective that calls the shots in your everyday decision-making?
· What role does prayer have in your daily walk? In your time in community?
· In what ways is alignment to God’s purposes a part of your time with your family? Your community?
· Where are you now in terms of experiencing self-pity, self-indulgence, bitterness or regret? In what way might these feelings keeping you from living fully and freely?
