· What are additional requirements that the church today seems to place on people?
· What is behind our propensity to add to salvation?
· When have you experienced the spiritual being valued over the physical? What was behind that pecking order?
· Besides in the sanctuary, where do you feel the presence of God?
· In what areas of your life are you dependent on Christ? Where do you struggle with self-reliance?
· Who are you trying to impress? Who is trying to impress you?
· What used to matter to you that doesn’t matter now? What caused the transition?
· What are you known for? What do you want to leave as a legacy? In your home? Among your roommates and/or co-workers?
· How would dependence on Christ lead you toward that legacy?
· What can you do to begin or continue to move your identity toward who you are in Christ?
· As a small group, how can you encourage one another in this grand pursuit?
