· If you are a woman, how have you experienced or seen the discrimination of women?
· If you are a man, how have you seen women close to you be discriminated against?
· How have you experienced the benefits of a female leader?
· Read Exodus 1:15-17
· When have you feared God over the cultural and political expectations you experience?
· How are the things or people you fear reflected in your choices, hopes, and behavior?
· What do you believe about God and His work in the world? How did you come to these convictions?
· When have you heard from God and resisted response? What caused you to be resistant?
· When have you believed you did the right thing even though the consequences suggested otherwise? How do you process that?
· Who in your life inspires you to live according to God’s will rather than the way of the world? Who is watching you as you follow God?
· How do you come alongside those who are marginalized?
· How does your life and conversation demonstrate that you are a citizen of heaven?
· What stirs compassion in you? How do you act on this?
· What would it look like for you to act on your compassion for the vulnerable and marginalized around you? Who will you suffer with? As an individual? As a group?
