The book of Ruth reveals that knowing and following God is never confined to our individual, private experiences of the Holy. God moves in and through relationships that surprise us, stretch us, and invite us into deeper belonging. Through our relationships with surprising characters—especially those who are different, vulnerable, or unexpected—we receive a deeper invitation to know the relational heart of God.
