Philemon 8–18 NIV

Paul’s letter to Philemon reveals what it looks like to participate in God’s drama of reconciliation. It challenges us to consider not only the reality of our broken interpersonal relationships, but also the sense of hopelessness we may feel about those relationships ever being restored. Yet, ultimately, this letter points us to Jesus’ reconciling work on the cross that can give us hope in the midst of our hopelessness.
