At Bethany, we are committed to making the invisible God visible in our community and around the world by embodying the reign of Christ in word and deed. We can see the world's brokenness all around us, from famine in Africa to child prostitution on the streets of Seattle. We have hope, however, because we know that God has a plan for the world—a good and beautiful plan (Ephesians 1:10). He is working here to overcome sin, disease, poverty, injustice, and suffering and to bring in a kingdom of grace, reconciliation, healing, transformation, and justice. And we have the blessing of being an integral part of that plan! Through local and global ministry partners and outreach programs, we are working as a community to connect outside the church walls to embody God's hope for our community and world.
