Pat Collins
Choir Director
How long have you been working at Bethany, and what is it you do here?
I began working at Bethany in December of 1995, the same time Richard started and I direct the choirs…that’s why they call me the choir director!
What is your favorite aspect of working at Bethany?
Easy. Bringing a diverse group of people together to love and support each other and make a beautiful (usually) musical offering to God.
Tell us about your family!
Greg: the best husband in the world! AND a great 4th-6th grade Sunday School teacher.
Three wonderful sons: Nate: leads worship in the evening and works for YouthWise, Jonny: helps with sound in the video café and is a senior at the UW, Bobby: sophomore at Central Washington University and is a music major.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Curl up in the sun with a good book.
What movie character would people say best describes who you are?
I don’t know…I’ve always said that, if I were an actress, I would want to play Mrs. Bennett from “Pride and Prejudice”, but a friend once told me I’d be better at Carlotta from “Phantom of the Opera.”
If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
Hellooooo….chocolate!
