How long have you been working at Bethany, and what is it you do here?
I am the Director of Missions and Outreach and have been on staff at Bethany since September 2010.
What relevant education or work experience prepared you for your position?
I earned a Masters of Cross-Cultural Studies and International Development at Fuller Theological Seminary. I worked at World Vision International as a member of the Child Protection Technical Team, and I also gained valuable work experience at Union Station Homeless Services as the Volunteer and Events Coordinator.
What activities are you involved with outside of BCC?
I spend lots of time with family, friends, and neighbors, and we’ve been known to do volunteer work when time allows.
Tell us about some of your hobbies, and about your family.
My husband of four years is Forrest. We were both raised in the Northwest and our families still live in the Northwest. We love to ski, hike, and backpack.
Who is the famous person you’re most likely to be mistaken for?
Hmmm… I’ve heard Jennifer Love Hewitt, but that was a long time ago…Nowadays, I get Tina Fey when I am wearing my glasses.
