    Richard,

Thank you so much for this sermon. You reminded me of the importance of staying connected to God.

I remember the day I left God and the unbelievable struggle I went through. I didn’t wrestle with God as a college student, but instead walked away. And now, that I’m in an even more difficult personal and professional situation, I know that I will not leave God ever again. But instead, I will wrestle, with no knowledge of how it will all turn out.

And like Abraham, there is no vision of a time when things will change…There is only now with Him. And maybe that’s the lesson I’m supposed to learn…

Thanks again for your faithfulness in Him.

    Richard,

Thanks for being so real, a human, I know that souds funny yet at times when I am visiting a church as I was Sunday Feb, 7th if the pastor doesn’t seem real I can’t hear a thing. So Thank-you, I came in need sunday as my daughter and I traveled from the Oregon coast to spend time with a very dear friend after my daughter blew me out of the water. The thursday before she left an anonymous note at her school saying she was contimplating suicide, she is eleven years old…………We have a family dedicated to God, she has been raised in a stable Christian home must I go on. This stability has been disturbed by an outside family member that is mentally ill. My daughter has experienced boundaries put forth for this other family member, during her suicide call for help, numerous emergency visits. She wasn’t physically present yet there in spirit for her Aunite. It has been very trying, we have set new boundaries to mentally, spiritually and physically protect our daughter. Saturday night she asked to go to church, were our frind frequents and that’s when I heard your message to “Wrestle with God, don’t disengage”. Wow how perfect, I placed these words on her ceiling as she lays in bed she can read them. Bless you thanks, Ingrid
