Local Outreach

Local Outreach at Bethany exists to shine a light into our community by meeting people in their place of need and walking with them toward mutual growth and healing.

Local Outreach at Bethany seeks to encourage and inspire our church members to a lifestyle of sharing God’s love in their everyday lives, and to building bridges between the social and cultural divides in our community. There are two ways in which Bethany members can engage in local outreach:

This year we are asking: how has Spilling Hope given us eyes to see God's transformation in our own communities? From April 21-May 19 Bethany is committing to develop eyes to see how God is calling us to connect with people who are often unseen in our communities.

Bethany's Local Outreach ministry opened an emergency homeless shelter for women in January of 2006. Since that time we have added several additional ministries as God has placed a vision on the heart of various volunteers and enabled them to build a team to carry it out.
