Alpha Course walks you through the fundamentals of the Christian faith in a way that allows space to ask questions, disagree, and explore with others what it is all about. It’s a low-key place to meet others at Bethany who are asking some of the same questions. Alpha is offered quarterly; the next class runs from Sept. 15 through Nov. 17. Contact: Nancy Eckardt

Bethany Foundations is a class focused on the beliefs, history, vision, and core values of Bethany. Connect with others in our community and learn what it means to become a member. The next class will be Saturday, Sept. 25, from 8:30am-12noon in the CE Auditorium.  Contact: Nancy Eckardt

Good finances are an important element of a mature Christian faith. The next class begins October 3, and meets every Sunday evening from 5-7pm.  Childcare is available. Study Guide for Richard Dahlstrom’s O2: Breathing New Life into Faith

O2 study guide: Questions by Nancy Eckardt

Your physical body needs oxygen in order to survive. Inhale, exhale…one leads naturally to the other. Inhale too long, and you feel as if your lungs will burst. Exhale too long and you get light-headed. The same rhythm is essential in the life of faith. This fresh perspective on the classic disciplines of the faith will empower you to process the oxygen of the Spirit. Discover how you can develop a balanced spirituality that reflects the life of Jesus and keeps your faith growing strong.

Bethany Library

The library at Bethany, located in the Overflow Cafe, provides materials that enhance our awareness of the world God has given us, both its beauty and its problems; brings us closer to God; and provides guidance in living a Christian life in today’s world. We offer materials not available in public libraries and provide reference materials for various groups (e.g., small group bible studies, youth and children’s ministries, and various Christian education programs).
