Stephen Ministry equips compassionate volunteers to provide confidential, one-to-one Christian care to individuals in our congregation and community who are experiencing difficulties in their lives. Available for both men and women, the commitment is completely up to you. Some care-receivers meet with their care provider for six weeks, while others might meet for two years.

Receive Care

Stephen Ministers are available to meet with those in our church and community who are experiencing divorce, grief, loss of a job, loneliness, hospitalization, terminal illness, or any of an endless number of other life difficulties or transitions. As a recipient of a Stephen Minister’s care, you will usually meet with your care provider once a week for about an hour for as long as you will benefit by the relationship.  Trust is essential to a caring relationship, and Stephen Ministers are people you can trust. Confidentiality is one of the most important principles of Stephen Ministry; what a care receiver tells his or her Stephen Minister is kept in strictest confidence.
