Baptism
Baptism is a public illustration of your new life in Christ, a declaration of your readiness to bury your old life, and a chance for our community to celebrate with you! We follow Christ’s example in Matthew 3:16 and baptize by full immersion. If you were baptized as an infant, you can add to your parents’ step of faith by publicly declaring your personal decision as an adult to believe in Jesus Christ. Rather than baptizing infants, Bethany dedicates children to God.
We have baptisms several times each year as a part of our Sunday services. The next Baptism Sunday is April 29. If you would like to be baptized, please plan to attend a baptism class on Sunday, April 22, at 10:20am or 6:30pm in Sanctuary Classroom B.
