What are Small Groups?

Small Groups are communities where deep relationships are formed and nurtured around the study of Scripture and care for one another. As we seek to live into the local, relational, and contextual value of the 20•20 Vision, we encourage you to join a group in your neighborhood.

New groups are formed as leaders are equipped to lead them. These groups are typically 8–16 people and commit to meeting together for at least a year. Each has a leader who is a member of the Bethany community and has received training. We post open groups below, and you are invited to email the leader directly if you want more information or would like to join. If you do not find a group that is a fit for you, check back in a month or so. Questions? Contact Olivia Clements.

Open Small Groups

Men  |  Mondays, 7pm

The Stepping Up group is a small men's group within the Men of Bethany ministry. Its focus is on contemporary studies in men's issues around living for Christ in our relationships, our families, our friends, and our workplaces. Contact John Benny

Queen Anne  |  Thursdays, 7pm

We are a group of young married couples around Queen Anne and South Lake Union. We have enjoyed studying books of the Bible, doing a video series, and having occasional potlucks. If you're looking to grow deeper in relationships with God and with each other, we'd love to hear from you. Contact Lori Maxfield

Magnolia  |  Tuesdays, 7pm

We are a group of recently married couples, living in the Capitol Hill, Magnolia, and North Seattle regions. We've been studying and enjoying fellowship, as we rotate meeting between each others' homes. To find out more, contact Martha Matson.

Post College Early Career Men | Thursdays

We are a men’s group that meets in houses around the North Seattle area. We generally start off with a brief chat and then wade into our study material. Once we’re done with the passage of Scripture, we share what’s happening in our lives and some prayer requests. Contact Jonny Collins
