What are Small Groups?

Small Groups are communities where deep relationships are formed and nurtured around the study of Scripture and care for one another. As we seek to live into the local, relational, and contextual value of the 20.20 Vision, we encourage people to join a group that is in their neighborhood.

New Small Groups are formed as leaders are equipped to lead them. These groups are typically 8-16 people and commit to meeting together for at least a year. Each has a leader who is a member of the Bethany community and has received training. We post open groups below, and you are invited to email the leader directly if you want more information or would like to join. If you do not find a group that is a fit for you, check back in a month or so. Questions? Contact Amanda Burnett.

We meet and discuss the week's sermon and how we can apply the message to our lives. We're focused on building a supportive community and on finding ways to serve together. Our time together is usually accompanied by sweets, snacks, and wine.

Each week, we will  learn about God, pray, eat, and laugh. Our goal is to creatively challenge our faith by caring for one another and our city. We strive to discover the image of Christ and our identity as the body of Christ.

North PCEC Women  |  Mondays 7pm

Contact Kim Crossen

Our small group seeks to provide time and space to grow in friendship and faith. We discuss sermon questions, study books, and share prayer requests. We look forward to meeting you!

PCEC Men  |  Thursdays

Contact Jonny Collins

We are a men’s group that meets in houses around the North Seattle area. We generally start off with a brief chat, then wade into our study material. Once we’re done with going through the passage of Scripture we share what’s happening in our lives and some prayer requests.

Shoreline  |  Thursdays

We meet at Cristwood Park to study the Bible and pray. We’re all over 50, but there’s never an end to learning, and lots of advantages to having a lifetime of experiences to call on.
