Believing that we are not just here for ourselves, we encourage our congregation to be involved in serving our community outside the church, by joining in the efforts of one of our partnerships in the area that are already doing vital work, or by getting involved in our neighborhood, schools, or athletic clubs. Arden Nursing Home

Arden Nursing Home provides care for elderly residents. We aim to lift residents’ spirits and build relationships by engaging with them numerous times a year through Christmas caroling, playing games, doing arts and crafts, and more. Contact Stephanie Evans 

 

Community Breakfast on Aurora

Our mission is to be people who exist to shine a light into our community by meeting people in their place of need and walking with them toward mutual growth and healing through relationship and hospitality. We want to encourage you to join the Community Breakfast on Aurora team as we share God’s love and strive to build bridges between the social and cultural divides in our community. Hopelink

Hopelink in Shoreline provides a variety of services to families who need a little extra help. We partner with them during the year by providing gifts at Christmas and helping to sort food occasionally. Contact Cher Anderton

 

High School Pizza Lunch

Bethany North, in partnership with Young Life, helps serve the high school community in Shoreline by offering free pizza lunches several Mondays each month. Volunteers help with set up, serve the meal, interact with students, and then clean up after lunch. Contact Becca Spellman


Vision House/Jacob’s Well

Vision House is a Christian social service agency based near Seattle. Since 1990, Vision House has provided transitional housing, support services, and childcare for homeless mothers and their children. Jacob's Well is an extension of Vision House that opened in 2013. Contact Jennifer Tamman

 

Young Life

Young Life believes in the power of presence. Kids’ lives are dramatically influenced when caring adults come alongside them and share God’s love. YL Leaders build relationships with middle school and high school kids and organize weekly events, lead Bible studies, and invite kids to world-class summer camps to hear about the great love of Jesus Christ. YoungLives

YoungLives is a part of Young Life that ministers to teen moms. We have partnered with them, providing financial support as well as volunteer support to mentor the moms and provide childcare during clubs. Contact Heather Montzingo

 

Women's Coffee and Questions

If you are looking for a confidential, safe and non-judgmental environment where you can talk about the issues you face, whether it's homelessness, drug addiction, sex trafficking, domestic abuse, etc., while receiving support from other women, then this group is for you.
