Community house is looking for a roommate starting around Sept 1st. We live in a large, beautiful home in the west end of Ballard. We have a gorgeous view of the Sound and the Olympics. We are blocks from the Locks, walking distance to the Sloop :), minutes from Golden Gardens and Ballard.
About us: We are late twenties, early 30's. We are a middle school teacher, Mars Hill Grad student, social worker, counselors, and young professionals. There are a total of 7 in the house, men and women, but we have plenty of space and everybody has their own room. We're active members of various churches, including Bethany. Some of us love to whitewater kayak, others love to bike and backpack, paint, etc. This is a perfect situation for grad students, young professionals, and like minded individuals. It’s generally a quieter house and we’re all pretty busy, but we enjoy spending time with each other and hanging out when we can.
The room available is in the basement of the house, which you share with 1 other roommate. It is practically a mother in law apartment. You'll have your own room, including a large closet, a living room, multiple bookshelves, share a bathroom with 1 person only, and have along with a large kitchen and fridge. Also has a separate entrance. Upstairs is more living space, living room, dining rooms, another full large kitchen/fridge. Lots of storage space is available in basement and attic. Plenty of on street and off street parking, as well as storage for a bike.
The room will be available around Sept 1st, but we can be flexible if it needs to be earlier or later. 12 month lease.
