Christian female looking for female roomie for cottage 1 block from Greenlake

    I'm a 29 year old female looking for one roomie for the two bedroom duplex I just moved into! It's the first story of a house. A real house. I think of it as a cottage. It's a 60's style cottage! One block from Greenlake. 4 blocks from Zoka's in the Tangletown neighborhood. It would just be the two of us. And my cat Snowball. And our cute yard and large livingroom and ugly bathroom. :) And fireplace. I am neat and love to keep home a peaceful and pretty place where a close friend or two can come over and hang out or sit by the fire or eat dinner together or whatever. I'm currently a nanny and a kind-of-sort-of grad student hoping to finish one day. I don't smoke. I drink on occasion- like once a month. I sing regularly and talk to the cat. I love to bargain shop, read books, watch movies, garden, walk, jog short distances, hike moderate distances and kayak. And draw. And decorate.     I need a place to stay for 9 weeks (middle of june - middle of August). I don;y know if that would work for you. I love cats so it would be wonderful to have a replacement for my cat when I'm away. I'm a Freshman at Bethel College in Mishawaka IN and I am doing an internship at Taproot Theatre Company (you're cottage is the perfect distance for me to walk...oh and jog to the beach...) Let me know if I would work and we can talk more!

    Jamie! I'm glad you wrote. I am really looking for a roommate for at least the next 6 months, hopefully year. But if I am still having trouble finding a roomie later on, I'll let you know! Good luck in your search. -Marilyn
