Join a community of courageous women as we venture into the deserts of Eastern Washington. Amidst the streaming sunlight,you’ll have the chance to learn about the natural history of the area and practice foundational skills of rock climbing. Before reaching new heights - you can unwind through a rejuvenating yoga class out under the open sky. This will also be an opportunity to explore building self-awareness, personal risk-taking, and supportive networks of relationship. Stargazing, campfire musings, and the smell of sage await you. Rainier National Park (Rampart Ridge Loop Trails) Come and spend a refreshing day hiking along the majestic views of the Pacific Northwest. We’ll start our journey together as the sun rises, and return just before the sun dips beyond the horizon. Each step that you take up the trail ridge will reveal stunning facets of Mt. Rainier, and the beautiful peaks and valleys of the Cascade Mountain Range. Mid-way through the climb –you’ll enjoy a leisurely lunch, and will be guided through an exploratory outdoor arts class. Our Seattle group is looking for a variety of host families for our Chinese and Korean exchange students. Host families come in all sizes and shapes: Single parents, retirees, "empty nesters," young couples with or without small children, as well as more traditional parent families wiht teenagers, all are currently sharing and enjoying the exchange experience.
