We’ll give you some instructions and tools, then we’re setting aside six hours (it will go by quickly) for silence, solitude, and prayer. We’ll debrief together and return to Seattle by 5pm on Saturday. No experience is necessary; if you’re looking for a space to connect with God here’s an opportunity.

5. What do you tend to base your identity on?  When has that been a challenge to your sense of self?
6. When have you had to adjust the focus of your identity?
7. How easy is it for you to admit your dissonance to your community?
8. How easy is it for you to receive the dissonance of others in community?
9. Why do we hide our dissonance from one another?

Men’s Ministry is heading out for a snowshoeing trip to Snoqualmie Pass! Meet at Bethany at 7:15am to carpool. Bring your own snowshoes (and related gear), lunch, and a couple dollars to chip in for gas.

Every second and fourth Monday we have Men of Bethany, our ongoing Men’s Ministry Gathering. We will have a worship time, snacks, and then we break out into three small groups (Exemplary Husband: a book study; Knights of the 21st Century: a DVD study on Biblical Manhood; and Making the Sermon Stick: an informal discussion on what God is doing in our lives).

The Tabitha Food Bank is looking for more volunteers.  Join us for brunch to learn more about the food bank and how you can get involved.
